Welcome to The Harvest, a new limited podcast series by African Voices where we talk to esteemed and emerging artists including notable filmmakers, writers, museum curators, musicians and cultural leaders.

A Black woman with closed eyes lies on green ferns, her hair adorned with colorful flowers. To the left, a green panel shows "AV African Voices," the podcast title "HARVEST™," a yellow podcast icon, and text about celebrating abundance in storytelling communities.

Our podcast kicks off with three episodes including an interview with Samantha Knowles, an Emmy nominated documentary filmmaker who is the recipient of our Reel Sisters: 2025 Reel Sisters Trailblazer Award and currently receiving acclaim for her new Netflix series Katrina: Come Hell and High Water; Amy Andrieux, executive director at the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Art (MoCADA); and Greg Gates, co-founder of Imagination.
